Son of Tommy Brandt, Brandt II is set to make his mark
Tommy Brandt II, or Brandt as he likes to be called, looks like a seasoned pro on stage and on camera. From his childhood, this young man has been touring with his father Tommy Brandt literally his whole life. He took the stage for the first time at 3 years old and has now performed at over 1500 events in venues as large as 160,000 fans. This gifted guitarist has shared the stage with superstars Eric Church, Jake Owen, and Little Big Town to name a few.
There’s no stage fright, no star struck boy, and no fear when he takes the stage. Brandt is serious about his career and loves to perform for the crowd. His debut CD “Finding My Way” featuring his rich vocals, song writing, musicianship and creativity, was just released nationally and getting great reviews.
He’s already won several Musician and Instrumentalist of the Year awards and was recently nominated in the Top 5 for Instrumentalist of the Year in Nashville along with Ricky Skaggs and Dennis Agajanian (the Fastest Flat Picker in the World). He was the only teenager nominated in the Top 5. What an honor and what company he’s keeping at such a young age. I promise this young man has a bright future!

I met JR Tommy Brandt Jr. four years ago in Nashville at the ICM Inspirational Country Music Convention.
At our late night gathering with musicians and singers.
I saw this tall drink of water young good looking guitar player play riffs on every song that people were singing.
Often looking my way for approval; every time I heard a guitar break or solo by Tommy Jr.
I would nod my head like a proud uncle experiencing a young man mastering his Electric and acoustic Guitar.
JR. Brandt Is becoming very familiar with the upper part of the neck guitar fingerboard.
